Production design

In 2008 I had the pleasure to work on the first Sci-Fi film in Mexico since Santo vs. the Martian Invasion (1967). It was a real challenge to be in charge of the production design of this ultra low budget film.
My work included leading the art department and working closely with the art director overseeing the construction of the sets at the Churubusco Studios.
It also involved intensive pre-produccion prior to filming, working closely with the director and producer in order to design all the sets for the film.
Producing actual concept art and style guides was also a part of that, and here is a small selection of my work on the film :
